Manufacturing & Supply Terms
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
Dawin is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specialising in professional bag production. This means we manufacture bags based on your own designs and specifications, ensuring they are produced to the highest standards and delivered under your brand.
With decades of supply chain expertise, we manage the full process after design — from quality-controlled production and customised packaging to reliable global delivery. Our role is to be your trusted production partner, so you can focus on building your brand while we take care of manufacturing excellence.
Shipping Terms
EXF (Ex Factory)
Under EXF, Dawin makes the goods available for pickup directly from our factory. From that point, the buyer is responsible for all arrangements, including transportation, insurance, export clearance, customs duties, and final delivery.
This option gives buyers full control of their logistics and represents the lowest responsibility for Dawin, as our role ends once the products are collected from our facility.
FOB (Free on Board)
With FOB, Dawin is responsible for delivering your goods to the designated port of departure and loading them safely onto the vessel. Once the goods are on board, responsibility shifts to the buyer, who arranges the main freight, insurance, and import clearance at the destination.
This option is one of the most common shipping terms in international trade and offers a balance — Dawin manages export handling, while buyers control the shipping process from port to final delivery.
CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight)
Under CIF, Dawin arranges the shipping and insurance of your goods to the destination port specified by the buyer. This means we handle export clearance, delivery to the port of loading, sea freight, and insurance coverage during transit.
Once the goods arrive at the buyer’s port, responsibility transfers to the buyer, who manages import duties, customs clearance, and local delivery to their warehouse or office.
This option is ideal for clients who want Dawin to manage logistics up to their port, reducing risk and simplifying the shipping process.
C&F (Cost & Freight)
Under C&F, Dawin arranges the shipping of your goods to the destination port specified by the buyer. We handle export clearance, delivery to the port of loading, and cover the sea freight costs to your port.
This option is suitable for clients who prefer to arrange their own insurance while still relying on Dawin to manage freight up to their port.
